Curator

Tulkiyan House and Garden

As Curator of Tulkiyan House and Garden, a State Heritage Register-listed historic house, garden and collection, I oversee the conservation, interpretation and management of one of New South Wales' most significant intact domestic heritage properties. My role encompasses strategic heritage planning, collections management, conservation projects, volunteer coordination, public engagement and stakeholder liaison.

I have led the development of detailed collection documentation, contributed to conservation planning and managed complex heritage maintenance and remediation works to ensure the long-term preservation of the house, its contents and gardens. Working closely with local government, heritage specialists and volunteers, I am responsible for balancing best-practice conservation with public access and interpretation, helping to bring Tulkiyan's unique stories, architecture and landscape to new audiences while safeguarding its cultural significance for future generations.
